Our Organization
Who We Are
NCBLA was founded in December of 2005 to recognize excellence in leadership, integrity, and commitment in collegiate bands. These values are needed in order to succeed in America, and no organization fosters these values like bands. However, before the NCBLA, no organization existed to provide this type of individual recognition. Our staff works continuously to give support to struggling bands and prepare for our annual awards banquet for the Dr. Thomas E. Lyle Leadership Award.
